The Host of Fermentation Summit

Today, I am a passionate Foodie, Gourmet and expert in Fermentation and gut health.

A few years ago, this was very different...

As a child, I had Allergies, gut problems, food intolerances and used to be sick all the time. When my health problems peaked in my mid twenties, I had to be very careful with what I drank and ate. I had a reaction and symptoms of all kinds on almost anything. Had panick attacks at night, did not sleep much, , was tired during the day, stomach cramps, migraine and a really weak immune system. I felt miserable all the time and to be honest - was scared I was going to die soon.

After hundreds of doctor's appointments, acupuncture, health coaches, healers, homeopaths and more, luckily, I started researching on the internet.

At some point, I was diagnosed with a so-called "histamine intolerance".

The solution

Since then, an evolutionary diet approach helped me control my symptoms. I learned quickly that gut health plays a key role in overall health and is linked to all kinds of chronic diseases. I read all books I could find, listened to podcasts, looked at studies, went to conferences and connected with experts in the field.

At that point, living foods fascinated me and Kombucha, wild fermented veggies, water kefir und other fermented foods became part of my daily diet.

In 2012, I stared fermenting at home, became and entrepreneur and co-founded the company Fairment with the mission to educate people about fermentation and provide cultures and equipment to safely and easily ferment at home.

By 2018, I hosted the German fermentation summit and co-founded and hosted the biggest online health summits in Europe.

Now I want to share my knowledge and the knowledge of the world's top experts on fermentation with you. I enjoy every meal to the fullest and I do not want to miss living foods in my diet anymore.

I want you to taste the unique flavors of these long forgotten superfoods and be able to save money, live health and sustainably at the same time.
